Here’s what will happen…

Whether you’re calling for consulting or coaching, our initial consultation will take place over the phone. We’ll talk about your needs, goals and the issues you and/or your team has that you’d like to address. This will be a time for us to get to know each other a bit, so you’ll have the opportunity to ask me questions about the process, my background and experience.

If after our initial consultation you would like to proceed, the process differs slightly depending on whether you will be a consulting client or coaching client.

» Consulting Process

Our first step will be to arrange a time for me to come to your office to meet with you and your team to determine your needs. If we agree there is a match between your needs and our expertise, I’ll submit a proposal that will include the scope of the work.

Once the proposal contract is accepted and signed by the client, work begins.

Typical work products include:

An organizational or team assessment through interviews, written assessments, document review or other appropriate means.

Written analysis of the current situation and recommendations for action that may include an implementation plan, workshop designs, training or OD interventions.

After you have reviewed the analysis, we’ll meet to discuss the report and agree on a course of action.

We’ve found the best results are achieved when we work as partners toward your success. We look forward to enabling you to achieve your business objectives with less stress.

» Coaching Process

Most coaching is done completely over the phone and through email. We’ll start out with a free initial consultation over the phone.

If it looks like we’re a good match for each other, we’ll schedule an intake assessment to help me determine where you are relative to personal values, behavior, lifestyle issues, etc. It’s a snapshot of where you are today and where you’d like to go in your personal development.

At our next session, we’ll debrief the assessment, design a plan for action and get started. We’ll meet 2-3 times per month over the phone. I also do a lot of “cyber-coaching” giving you access to me through email in between sessions.

For our business coaching clients, we may also meet with you at your office for the intake and other sessions to conduct 360° assessments, interviews or observations of the client “in action.”
