Are you passionate about your work? Because we are. We absolutely love what we do – and that is to help you succeed. We’ll ask you and your teams the important questions (and yes, the “duh” questions) no one is asking. We don’t presume to have all the answers. No one does. Sometimes there are problems that have no clear-cut solutions. If they did – you would have figured those out by now. We trust that you are smart, capable and business savvy. We provide new objective perspectives, approaches and ways of thinking. We’ll challenge the trite clichés you hear so freely in offices these days. How many times have you been asked to “think out of the box?” Do you know how hard that is? What exactly does that look like? What does one have to do to think out of the box? Where is the box? It moves you know.

It’s important for us to develop a strong and trusting relationship with you. If either one of us holds back on that, it will limit our success together. You can count on us to tell you “the compassionate truth” when it’s necessary. The things others might be afraid to tell you because it may be uncomfortable for you to hear and for them to say – but the truth of how you may be getting in the way of your own desired results. We call it the “compassionate truth” because we tell you in way that doesn’t judge you – and we help you figure out how to make the changes. We won’t just drop a bomb on you and leave you to yourself to figure out what to do with it.

» Guiding Beliefs

We’re living in a time when “competition” has become a powerful driving force in our businesses; and it’s created a life of its own. We’re expected to be at the top of our game 100% of the time – to adopt new behaviors and be excellent at them – yesterday. If you look around our culture – we have feng shui concepts, new age music, and corporate structures that still harken back to the old mechanistic days. “Work hard and you’ll get ahead” has become “work smart, not hard.”

But who questions these trite clichés anymore? What exactly does that mean to you when you’re trying to approach a problem that keeps showing up time and again? If there is one thing we know for sure – it’s that top performers don’t do it alone. Top performers know their strengths well – and compensate for their weaknesses by getting support. We help you be the best of who you are – to maximize your strengths, gain new perspectives and develop new skills and approaches that work better for you, your employees and the company.

» Expected Results

Other people will probably begin to notice the changes in you before you do. You might be setting better boundaries, communicating more clearly for desired results, following through when you didn’t use to, involving your team more in decision making, delegating more…. Your strategic planning process will actually have “teeth.” And your team, and your teams’ teams will know what’s happening in the organization – and be working in concert toward the same objectives. Work will still present its challenges to you. But you’ll feel better prepared to meet them – and more effective at getting the results you want.

» How We’re Different

There are lots of excellent consultants you can hire who “know their stuff.” But to be competitive, you need to “know that stuff” too. What’s important is that we pass on that knowledge to you. As your consultant we’ll provide you with methodologies, tools, processes that help your teams achieve effective results. As your coach, we’ll help you identify and overcome the obstacles that get in the way of your own success. And all the while, we’ll be building your knowledge base and competence in using these methods, tools and processes for sustainable change. Click here to learn more...

» How We Work

First, we work with you to determine what your goals are – what do you want to achieve? What is your criteria for success? How does your current system support or undermine your efforts to achieve those results? What else is going on in your organization, in your team, in your life that impacts your efforts?

Next, we conduct an assessment of where you are today in relationship with those goals. Then we establish a program or course of action and timeframe to move you in that direction.

You might notice we didn’t mention “problem solving” here. And that’s why our approach is different from many other consulting firms. We take an approach that coaches use – find out the destination, then create a plan to get there.
